Cashew Vanilla spread

Ingredients :
3/4 c cashews, roasted
2 ts vanilla essence
3 tbs maple agave syrup (any liquid sweetener )

1. blend all the ingredients in to fine paste.

Cashew Chocolate Spread

Cashew chocolate spread is basically nuttella (or any other hazelnut spread) except for the fact that its base ingredient is cashew, whereas in hazelnut spread is hazelnut (DUH!). This is in many ways better than hazelnut spread, for one, it can produce a better-textured spread, so it spreads at more ease. In many areas, hazelnut spreads  and even hazelnuts aren't easily available, and cashews are easily available so this is a good replacement.

3 tbs maple agave syrup (any liquid sweetener)

1. Blend all the ingredients into fine paste.

Ingredients:
10 cube mango ice
1 c fat free yogurt
1 ts vanilla extract
1 tbs maple syrup
zest of 1 lime
Garnish:
mango pieces

1. Pour all the ingredients in shaker and shake it well.
2. Fill the tall glass with drink and serve immediately.



Silky dip

This had started off with just an experiment. I bought silken tofu instead of regular tofu but had no idea where to use it. After I came home, I was tired and my kids were hungry. I tried to think of something that was fast to make. So, I took out the blender and started adding what I felt would go well together and that's pretty much how I ended up with this dip and when I asked kids to try it, they were frowning, thinking that how much better can you make tofu taste but any way they tried a tiny bit, as if it was poison, the next moment, they had a big smiles and an amazed look on their faces and they said, "Wow! fantastic, you must post this recipe on your blog." So here it is...

1 package silken tofu (12 oz) (I used Mori-Nu organic firm silken tofu)
1 tbs balsamic vinegar
1 ts rosemary, dried
1/2 ts savory, dried
1/2 ts parsley, dried
3 big cloves garlic
1/2 ts onion powder
1/4 ts pepper
salt

1. Blend everything together until smooth.

*If you can't find silken tofu replace it with soft tofu(silken tofu has creamier texture).

Vegan Spinach Dip

Very easy, quick and tasty dip. It's very yummy but not loaded with fat - Making it guilt free and more enjoyable.

1 tbs balsamic vinegar
1/2 ts parsley, dried
3 big cloves garlic
1/2 ts onion powder
1/4 ts pepper
1/4 ts mace powder
salt as needed

1. Blend everything together  till smooth.

*If you can't find silken tofu replace it with soft tofu(silken tofu has creamier texture).
